CraZy_DaVe 0 Posted May 5, 2015 Hi there guys! Im not sure if this is the right section....but here i go.. So i installed a cctv system at a client and all was working pretty well... The client phoned today to say she needs footage of a certain date witch was 2 weeks ago... For some reason this system says there is "no files" or something like that.... It will only let me see the footage of 30 April till today.... But i need the footage of the 24 April and 29 April.... But the system says there is no files.. Can anyone please assist me in this matter? Can i insert the HDD to my computer? What should i do? Thanks
Boogieman 1 Posted May 5, 2015 First thing you should do is disconnect the system so that no more files are overwritten... Is the drive full now? if so, your drive was not large enough for two weeks of recording... Second thing is not to install systems that you are not familiar with and to understand the limitations of recording times..
Cullions 0 Posted August 19, 2015 Have you tried checking if your system is already full? I have experienced before that I need to view the footage for the whole 1st week of February, but every time I am trying to look for it only says cannot look for the said file. Maybe you should try to refresh or check out the system. Maybe it can't record and save heavy files. http://goo.gl/1DXeDC
