versed 0 Posted May 17, 2015 I recently inherited 4 Geovision GV-FD1200 dome IP cameras. I would like to initially set these up inside my home, and eventually add a couple more Geovision 1.3MP exterior bullet cameras. Using the Geovision software, I've had a couple of these cameras working on the bench with an older AMD based computer. If I understand it correctly, I'm going to need more computer horsepower to run 6 cameras, and also a switch with enough POE ports. My question is what type of computer specs should I be looking for? What processor and how much ram. I can either build it myself or buy an off the shelf computer, so please help me as to what I need.

jeromephone 6 Posted May 21, 2015 go to the geovision website and you should be able to find specks for NVRs and dvr. You can also download the latest firmware as well as nvr software
