Need a very long cable run

Hi all,

 

First post here, been lurking for a long time but never actually posted anything. I install mostly IP systems and got a situation where I need 8 cameras on the outside of a building which is the easy part, but there are 2 gates about 600 meters away where I also need 4 more cameras. I thought about going IP but I can't really put 2-3 switches in there to extend it. It has to be full 1080p. There is power available everywhere so I think I might try some ubiquiti radios but LOS might be an issue and there seems to be a lot 2.4GHz wifi gear.

 

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep that in mind. I'm also going to look at a 1080p system that's supposed to do over 3000 feet over RG6 coax. I'd still prefer wireless but I don't really have LOS unless we put in a tower which would cost way too much...
