hgiexchange 0 Posted June 8, 2015 I have two 16-Channel Revo DVRs that I would like to set up remote viewing through a streaming service such as Livestream or UStream. I've read a few things out the interwebs that mentions I need to have a PCIx Video Capture card in my desktop computer. If so, can anyone recommend what type of card I need? Also if so, can I connect both DVRs to the same video capture card or do I need to have 2 cards? I have not set up the LAN side. That seems like the easy part. I just want to make sure I can get them connected to the PC. Thank you in advance, Jim
SunnyKim 2 Posted June 9, 2015 With a single pc, it may not be possible to compress 32 Channels of video in software. You may have to look for Hardware-assisted(h.264) PC DVR cards. Two pieces of each 16 channel with PCI -E slot would be OK.
