yb23 0 Posted June 19, 2015 Hello, I have a security camera remotely operated with a remote controller (not wireless). Recently the remote controller does not turn on the engine of camera and I can't control the remote camera's direction. The engine itself works because when you turn on the camera, it's resets the camera's direction to a default point but when you try to change the angle of the camera via remote control - it's not working. jazzar 0 Posted June 20, 2015 could be a broken data wire or similar or the electronic head inside the dome at the top. can you try swapping unit with a working one if you have more than 1 on your system. there will be a series of switches that can be set to on or off- these need to be swapped around if you try swapping units since these switches assign the camera address ie unit 1 or unit 2 etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
