Hikvision DS-7616 and 2CD2332-I cams, q on cam settings

Hi All,

I am just installing the system around the home and using a 55" screen for setup. The settings at the moment are default 2048x1536 @ 20fps recording and output to monitor 1920x1080 @ 50hz. The images appear slightly shimmery and out of aspect, I'm thinking this is because of the mis match of captured and displayed frame sizes/rates. I have not been able to find a menu through the NVR to address the capture parameters of the cameras to compare images.

My question(s) are

 

1. Should I bother trying to make the captured video match the native screen resolution?

 

2. If so how to I do it?

its in menu -> record -> parameters,

 

there you can set/change values for main/substream.,
