QVIS (or other generic) password reset code

Hi folks I have a qvis DVR model number med 8case. I cannot enter the settings menu as the company who set it up have changed the admin password and they have since gone out of business.

 

I would need a reset password for this and some instructions on how it works if possible.

 

Would it be a case that when the admin password has been changed that the QR code for my iPhone will not work when you scan it ?? .

 

Any help much appreciated. In exchange I can offer help and options on other things.

Every time I use my user password on anything other than playback a message comes up - Access denied!

Hi all,

 

I found this forum as I search for a password reset of OYN-X Pioneer (I guess), model: 4X-4BB distributed by Adata in the UK. A person who installed it was not reachable so I have changed a box for a customer and got the old one as a part of a payment.

 

Can you advise if there is a way to reset the admin password, please?

I have the same problem .

From my mobile while accessing the QVIS DVR remotely i seem to have changed the live video quality and cant access the dvr remotely . The live video on the monitor connected to the dvr was frozen . Tried longing in but seem to be locked out .

date on the screen is 23/07/2018 .

 

Any help would be most appreciated .

I'm trying to login to a QVIS Quattro 4 I purchased from a local auction house

I believe I need a temporary password to allow me to access the Setup so I can

reset the admin password.

First time using a forum...

 

A friend of mind has recently taken over a restaurant and as i have basic knowledge about tech and cctv systems he asked me if i can help him sort out his CCTV system as the old owners left the place in a mess and just left without any passwords etc.

So i have been taking a loot at his system and he has a QVIS Model: LXZEUSL-16CASE.

 

I managed to get the system up and working but i can not get into the system settings to do a factory reset so we can change the settings on how the new owner wants it.

 

The system has three accounts... Admin, Guest and Owner. I can log in to the Guest account as that has no passwords but it doesn't let me do much. I have been trying to get into the Admin account but it keeps saying Invalid password and it gives me a hint that the password is "NULL" so i have left it blank and it still does not work. I have looked at various threads online and including this one and it seems to do a hard reset i need a daily password.

 

So i was wondering if anyone can help me with this. The current date on the system is 31-01-2018 and time at 15:35 (uk time) it was showing 18:48.

 

I have also taken the cell inside out over night for around 14 hours and still nothing i have also taken the hard drive out and still nothing.

Hi everyone

I have a QVIS I-Smart 4BB dvr.

 

This was set up by someone I cannot get in touch with and when I tried to access the menu I got the password required.

I have tried the default Admin admin, but no Joy.

Hi. You can’t reset the viper that way 

 

have you tried the default 123456. 
 

if that does not work you need to go then you need to click password retrieve to get a qr code. 
 

do you know who the installer is .. what area are you in

Hey, thank you, 

It won't let me retrieve the password  without have a dynamic password. 

I did try the default one and numerous other ones and they haven't worked either. 

The only thing we got told about the cameras is we needed superlive plus to be able to use them, they was already on the house when we moved in and the previous owners have forgot there password and logged out also there is no question to answer either. 

The picture below is what is currently on my screen. 

We also live in Bolton if that helps.
