bwolfgang 0 Posted July 7, 2015 Our company has 9 Hikvision cameras located throughout our plant and a Hikvision NVR (DS-7616NI-E2/8P). Multiple employees have access to view live view and play back through the web interface. However, some of our employees receive a “playback failed” message when trying to view playback. Only some employees who access the cameras can’t see playback, and they all have been given permissions to view playback through the admin account. The people who can’t view playback are on Windows 7 Pro/Windows8.1 Pro and using Internet Explorer to view the cameras. As of now we have not been able to find a solution to this problem. bwolfgang 0 Posted July 8, 2015 Found the answer. Turns out the Online Shield in my AVG antivirus was blocking it. To anyone having similar problems, try messing with your antivirus. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
