timcs 0 Posted July 7, 2015 Hi Sorry to have to ask this problem here as I have spent some considerable hours trying to get the email functionatily working on my old Avtech avn80X (not sure of which model this actually is as the device does not seem to show it anywhere) with little luck. Annoyingly I am sure I had this working before but sadly when I set this IP camera up I could not remember the password to log on via the web interface which meant I had to reset the device itself taking it back to its defaults. So far I have tried my own smtp with and without SSL and changed the ports from 25 to 465 and back with it on and off SSL. Searching the web I found suggestions to try the gmail smtp which I have tried with and without SSL and tried both ports 25 and 465 in both cases and the reasons why I know it is not working is that A) I do not receive the email and B) looking in the server log via the web interface I get email failed but with no explanation to why.
