superman_006 0 Posted July 8, 2015 Im working with a clover electronics 8 Channel LCD2284 DVR and we can not view anything because the file type is VDAT with is a proprietary format that clover used which requires a program called combo viewer to convert the format into a viewable video and no one has ever up loaded the software. Clover electronic went out of business a few years back and their websites "Clover-usa.com" are not even active any more. The systems were originally sold with a CD that had a program that you can view VDAT files or even convert them to AVI. The owner of the DVR says they never had the CD. I am hoping that someone would have a program that recognize the VDAT. I have tried media player classic, VLC, Mace, intellex, netviewer-swann, gopro sudio and windows media player. I downloaded iDVR-pro CMS but it looks like its for a PC based dvr system. Anyone know of another program?
