abarin 0 Posted July 11, 2015 Hi All, I'm new to CCTV. I'm helping my sister out with their small business CCTV system. She has a 16 channel Orbix unit now that appears to be about 7 years old.(http://www.eclipsecctv.com/specs/SPECSHEETDVRORB16h264_010509.pdf) It appears to work fine via her monitor but will not transmit video via the network to remote clients. The client connects but fails to receive images from the box, our network engineer says that it is correctly configured through the firewall. Can this part of a DVR stop functioning? If so, what would be the best modern 16 channel replacement? I'd like to keep the same cameras in place. Thank you! Aiden

If she wants to upgrade, get this...you will be able to use the old cams, and replace some with these much better HD cameras. http://www.costco.com/Lorex-16-Channel-HD-Security-System-Bundles.product.100162999.html
