Baluns with HD-TVI

Can I run cat5 and Baluns instead of premade siamese bnc/power for a HD-TVI camera?

 

Some passive baluns say he, others say no. To me I would think you cannot run HD-TVI on cat5.

If you would bother to take some time and read the links you would see that its absolutely possible. Why else are they selling a TVI balun?

Where did you see that its not possible? Who are the "some say no"?

Simply buy one made for that purpose.

If you are running ethernet may as well go with an ip system..
