bentech 1 Posted August 1, 2015 Hi, I got new BNC connectors from a new vendor. It s marked 50 ohms on the bag. Do I need 75 ohms or it s Ok? Tks!
the toss 0 Posted August 2, 2015 50^ coax is physically different to 75^ coax. 75^ BNCs will fit on 50^ coax but not the other way and the compression aspect may be compromised
bentech 1 Posted August 2, 2015 New ones are coming from WBox technologies OE-BNCMC59PT I use to take the ones from GEM ge-302n2cstp The only difference between the one I had before if the plastic inside. With a multimeter , I don t see any difference. See picture (in the bag it s the new) So the question is really if 50 ohms can be an issue? Tks....
