In generally,DVR have different recording modes,Cover the prior recording when HDD capacity run out,or recording will be stop when HDD capacity run out.when the one HDD is full, recording will be stored to the 2nd one automatically. if the DVR system have no bug, there is no difference between Sata2 and Sata 3,DVR software will recognize them automatically. -------------------------------------------------- Skype:mxtforever email:mxtinlv2015@gmail.com www.smart-views.com
Timmie 0 Posted August 3, 2015 ^^ Thanks for reply On recording mode, there is only 2 available, Stop recording and overwrite. I have selected overwrite, but does this mean once 1st HDD is full it will move to second? One other Q, do I have to load firmware on to the 2nd HDD or will it slave from the 1st seamlessly?
