Dahua nvr4216 not accepting new passwords or accounts.

I have a Dahua nvr4216 and as it is right now it will not accept new accounts, groups or passwords when I try to remote in. Accessing the nvr locally everything is just fine I can create new accounts, groups and change the admin password, it will not accept these as being valid when I try to remote in.

 

The admin account will only accept "admin" as the password and nothing else. The nvr states invalid password for any other password I use for the admin account. The nvr will not recognize any other account or group simply stating the account does not exist.

 

This started when I changed the default HTTP port from 80 to 8080 and going back to port 80 doesn't work either.

 

I hoping someone has had this issue and has a fix for me.

 

Defaulting the nvr does not work and there seems not to be any hard reset.
