Rickinfl 0 Posted August 7, 2015 Hi, I have the DS-2CD2032-I cameras and have a few questions. First I'm thinking of building a NAS server and let the cameras directly record to that. But I want to be able to view live stream within my house and remotely including from my phone. So do I need the hikvision software installed on a box? Do I need some sort of steaming server? I don't want to open a bunch of ports in my firewall to access the cameras. I would like to open only one port to view all my cameras. I don't want to buy a NVR. I have servers running at home mostly linux. Also I'm running linux but I found the hikvision linux software and it works perfect in house. Not sure what I need on my android phone. I have more questions just figure I would start with this step.
ravuthkumars 0 Posted August 10, 2015 in this case use IVMS 4200 PC NVR.. configure cameras in it., open ports of the PC for remote viewing.,
