newcamerauser 0 Posted August 17, 2015 My neighbor has many barking dogs. I need to capture this sound on my Amcrest 960H system but it doesn't come with microphones. Does anyone have a recommendation for a microphone that is suitable for outdoor use, but has an adjustable sensitivity which I can lower enough to not be overblown by dogs barking loudly at a distance of 25' or greater? It seems like most microphones are marketed towards trying to pick up the human voice, but my need is slightly different.
newcamerauser 0 Posted August 22, 2015 Well seems like I'm not getting any bites on this. Since posting originally I'm reading that recording audio is a risky thing generally, given various laws on the books. Recording dog audio is probably legit I'm guessing...just not people.
