josebogo 0 Posted August 18, 2015 Hi, everyone. I have an Indigovision NVR 200 Series (VP851W56) that doesn't work because those HDD failed (2X Seagate ST3500320SV). I'm trying replace the HDD by WD Purple Series 1TB (2X WD10PURX), but the NVR not recognize the units. When I start the creation of the RAID ARRAYS, the system shows the message on log: "Model of disk 0 is not valid.. Exiting...". This NVR is not compatible with HDD's WD Purple Series?? DaveFix 0 Posted December 14, 2022 Old topic I know, but for anyone having this problem in the future. Only HDDs which IndigoVision have fully tested will work. The approved list of HDDs are stored in the firmware. Newer HDDs are sometimes added to later firmware revisions, so upgrade to the latest firmware you can get your hands on and you might get lucky.
