Cheap PIR? is it worth it for better motion detection

Hi

 

I want to wak together a motion detection PIR system

 

1 - Where can i get a cheap 12v external PIR, they dont seem to exist and start at 200£ when they do!!

 

2 - Best way to put it all together?? i was going to link it to a raspberry Pi which would trigger the alerts to my NVR (potentially a hikvsion)

 

Anyone done anything like this?

would u not just have it linked in the inputs of the NVR

This is maybe a bit to cheap
