Makes sense to me. You should only be using the www.cctvforum.com as the web address. I logged on with no issue though. Of course I lost my new post flags on the other screen when I did that, but oh well. Had to test it.

Why should you only use the www.cctvforum.com? It is setup to work with and without the www

Well that is the main reason, because the cookie works with the "www" version of the page. Other than that I don't know why. Maybe Larry or somebody else can shed some light on that.

 

I am so used to typing in the "www" before any website or clicking on a link that I seldom leave off the "www", unless I am using a subdomain off a domain. Which would be something like larrys.cctvforum.com.

The cookie issue is in the PHPBB config, you can set them so the same cookie will on any subdomain if you want.

If AutoComplete is turned off Ctrl+Enter will not work on XP and win2K.
