Cameras will be mounted outside under eaves with large quantities of light (WDR interest for any shadows / darkspots). Nighttime viewing will be supported with various landscaping lights. Mounting heights will be ~12 feet. Cost isn't a concern (e.g. cameras under 1K are fine). Prefer to avoid Hikvision / Dahuha for this project. thewireguys 3 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) I would check to see if you can mount the Vivotek camera the way you want. I haven't installed this camera but looking at the mount I am not sure it would be able to mount this under the eve. I would stick with Axis or Samsung. spartan1685 0 Posted August 28, 2015 Thanks for the quick replies! I was looking at the bullets as the family likes the appearance of bullets as opposed to domes. I wouldn't be opposed personally.
