New Ethernet System with Recorder

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I'm looking for a home CCTV system with recorder. I'll need 6 cameras around my house with a couple remote. I was looking at the Swann NVR8-7300 which should fit the bill, HD cameras, remote view with ipad, night vision etc, but I have one or two cameras I'd like to mount remotely and have a wifi link back to the DVR. These are sheds about 50 foot from the house and I cannot easily get a cable across.

Does anyone have any suggestions on wether you can link a camera into this system wirelessly, or suggest a simular system where you can?

Thanks

Peter

only ip camera can connect to record wirelessly.

most dvr can connect both analog camera and ip camera.

1. make sure your recorder can connect IP camera.

2. make sure your recorder support onvif protocal.

3. make sure your ip camera support onvif protocal

then connect IP camera to router wirelessly. the dvr can detect ip camera's ip and add it into system.
