lee8040 0 Posted September 6, 2015 hi, I have a sentient ns401 dvr with 2 cameras. all been setup and recording perfectly to the dvr. I want to view it through my ipad but not quite sure what I need to do. i am on talktalk internet which ive read that a few people on bt have problems so hope talktalk is simpliar. could someone tell me the basics or a guide to setup viewing through kviewhd please. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ssnapier 0 Posted September 6, 2015 First things first, get it setup and working on your local network. As long as you can connect your DVR (or NVR) to the rest of your network, it is not terribly difficult. You have to set up port forwarding in your router so that when you request the DVR from wherever you might happen to be the router knows how to get you there. Use the website portforward.com to find instructions for your particular router.
