magnumpi 0 Posted September 10, 2015 Hi, My DVR card and pc died. Looking for a new 4ch DVR card for a windows 7 pc. What is a good card to get? Thanks
SunnyKim 2 Posted September 10, 2015 Any PCI or PCI-E card capable of 960H /WD1 recording would be OK, available amazon or ebay. Remote access over smart phone is no problem. If you pay more than U$50, you are ripped off. Do not buy USB-DVR stuffs that are limited to CIF X 4 Ch recording and Previewing.
tomcctv 190 Posted September 10, 2015 $50 or lower and you are buying junk ........buy once don't waste money having to buy twice .. Your only looking at 4 cameras so buy a dvr ........ Analog dahua will do everything even more than your old card
SunnyKim 2 Posted September 10, 2015 Absolutley OK to buy analog stand alone DVR of Daihua. But make sure it is capable of recording 4Ch X WD1 X30 FPS. Old days, most of DVR were limited to CIF recording, not WD1 or 960H.
magnumpi 0 Posted September 14, 2015 Thanks guys. I decided to replace the entire system with a 1080p IP camera system. WOW, the difference is incredible, I would never go back to the old system. I should have made the switch earlier. I have this in my office with drop ceiling so running the new cable was easy.
