Question about the Hikvision turboHD recorder and the 2 ip c

I am looking at installing my first turbo hd system, I have a couple questions about the 2 ip camera channels, Is there ethernet ports built into the recorder? And if not how hard is it to add them over the network? Does it find them automatically ?

 

Also can you have 16 over coax plus 2 for a total of 18?

Yes, 16 HDTVI cameras and 2 Hikvision IP cameras, 18 total. It does not have integrated POE ports, the IP cameras have to be on the network. And they are very easy to set up, if the IP cameras are on the same subnet.

No, it will only work with Hikvision cameras.

Shoot me if I'm wrong but I think a couple of models support ONVIF and Hik cameras, definately not 7200 but I think 7300 does.

I can't say a sure NO to that, and I do not have any 7300s to test it on.
