Piero-84 0 Posted September 26, 2015 Hello, I used the program Dahua dhcontrol.exe to change account passwords " 888888 " and "admin " . I entered " password0 + " Everything seemed ok but the problem is that passwords can be only 6 characters long ... Now I can not access the NVR and can not reset it. I tried it with the password calculated by the day , month and year, but nothing happens . I tried to remove the backup battery even though it was soldered to the motherboard , but nothing changes ... I tried via telnet with different username and password found on the web but can not log in ... I sent an email to support Dahua but I do not received respond ... Can you help me? Thank you so much ! Practically , setting the password via the software , the system has stored a long 7-character password " passwor " but through " dhcontrol.exe " and pss and video login would not accept more than 6 characters . Instead through weblogin you accepted password 7 characters long and are then able to reset them Thank goodness because I think it is not possible to reset.
