1. Where do i plug the audio lead into in the rear of pc, where i have it now, when i close down software the sound continues to play all time?

2. My camera is colour but the colours are not strong(you would never guess the grass is green, lol) is there any thing i can do to help?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

If the DVR card has a RCA Input on it for audio use that, otherwise if it doesnt and you are using the PC Input then you will always hear sound as you are now. Do you know what DVR card it is?

As for the camera, sounds like it is the IR Cut Filter issue. Most cheap color IR cameras, dont have an IR cut Filter in order to pick up Infrared at Night, and to cut down on cost. A mechanical iR cut filter would make the camera cost alot more. Without an IR Cut filter in the day time colors will look washed out, lack of color production, due to the IR produced from the sun and other sources. There isnt anything you can do with that besides buying a Color only camera, or an expensive Day Night camera that has a mechanical (auto/removable) IR cut filter.

Hi Rory

Thanks for your help, no the dvr card has no audio input so i am putting it back into the spond card basically. It was a package i bought off Ebay, i thought it was a 2.4 system, but i was mistaken it has 200mw on the box, It is a 30 led colour and night vision camera, model 802c but doesn't say make?

came with radio av receiver, with mains adapters.

The dvr card i bought seperately, didn't have a clue to be honest and found this forum afterwards, isn't that always the way. It is a Yahee Dvr Card Sk 2000f

I know i probably should not of bought it all, i think i am beginning to realise this, ha ha.
