rastalinus 0 Posted September 30, 2015 Tell me if I'm crazy, but I'm wanting to start a residential CCTV installation company in Texas. I've worked one year for a security company, but I wasn't a commissioned officer. I was a dispatcher. In texas you need a Class B License in order to open a business that installs CCTV, even if they're not being monitored by a third party. I was told by the state office that I could work under another's class B license, but I would have to find that person or company of course they would have to be from Texas, but would they need to be from the same county? I know a phone call could answer that question, but I think it's going to be difficult to find someone near me who would allow me to work under their license.
