jeromephone 6 Posted April 4, 2006 I have a customer that wants to allow certain people to view recorded video and live video from a geo system but wants to restrict their ability to save video to their machines I told him once they have the remote access they can save to their machines has anyone run into this before? The easy way is to not allow remote access but that is not an option.

netvisiondvr 0 Posted April 6, 2006 It will be a tough thing to satisfied your cutomer's need. whether remote dvr client or IE client will provided download the record file only if it can access the sever. but if you stop connect ,how can client view the live video. just like fish and bear's paw, two of the best, but only one to get. another revolution, custom the special function to your software provider. forbid a download button is OK!
