wally1986 0 Posted October 27, 2015 Hi all, i am looking at a ip camera or maybe 2 for my drive way and drive way entrance one for all or one for wide monitoring and other with big lens for id at the enterence? and iv been looking at all the Hikvision range and spent a lot of time on youtube but im now wanting your thoughts on this..... 1. its going to be mounted 5 meter up on my sofit 2. targets will be between 15-25 meter from the lens and 25 meter wide 3. with no light (as dark as dark gets) 4. cant have a PTZ due to being too big and mrs etc 5. need to see number plates and id intruder if need to (aware of this at night is a prob) 6. thinking of a 3-4mp for the zoom on plates or faces i have a DS-2CD2232-I5 and a DS-7604NI but i dont want to involve this camera in this situation unless this is classed as "as good as it gets" but im sure you guys will find better for what i need but this is my experience i have so far, thank you in advance Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
