cctv remote viewing issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I would appreciate it if someone would be so kind to help me.

I have tried everything I can think of but have had no luck, I am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I cannot view my cctv cameras remotely and also the Samsung smart viewer program has stopped working. All was fine when I had Sky Broadband, Its after I have changed ISP to TalkTalk. I have left all the previous settings untouched in the DVR. I have forwarded the ports to the best of my ability on my new TalkTalk router but I cannot log in remotely to view the cameras. Whilst on the same network, when I type into Internet Explorer the StaticIP address of my DVR, it works fine. When I try firefox a message is displayed that ports 4505 to 4530 need to be forwarded. I have also done that and after logging into the DVR, I am greeted with just a blank screen. Internet Explorer works fine with either ports 554 to 558 (ports forwarded previously on sky router) and on ports 4505 to 4509(ports now forwarded because of TalkTalk router) Also Samsung have the smartviewer program in which I used to input just the Mac Address of the DVR and I could connect remotely but that doesn’t seem to be working.

Any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
