userbosco 0 Posted October 30, 2015 Okay, a bit of a newb, but have a couple IP cameras installed and they work fantastic. I've configured it so it is just grabbing pictures on an event, but want to exploit the full capability of the cameras and software now. Just installed a 3TB WD Purple HDD into my PC and formatted it as usual (NTFS). In iVMS-4200, I go to | Device Mgt | Encoding Channel | Remote Config | Storage |. Hit update, no hard drive shows. Tried it through their browser tool, too. So, in short, what am I missing? Why won't the software see the new hard drive when it's formatted and working? Thanks in advance for a lil' help!
