logicrussh 0 Posted November 12, 2015 Im having a problem with one of my cameras, i got 10 cameras on a DVR, but one of those is sending blue image to the screen, i dont know if this could be a problem with the power supply or some kind of interfierence. Can you please help me with this? some other data: when i turn off the power supply, al the 10 cameras send high quality image and everything is good, but in about 4 or 5 hours one of the cameras gives me this problem (Blue image), thats the only camera with that problem so im starting to think that the problem could be that camera specifically. Hope to get an answer and im sorry about my english level

myiicu 0 Posted November 13, 2015 Try swapping out the power connection at the power supply of the suspect camera with a known good connection. If the problem (blue image) occurs again with the same camera, your camera is NFG...
logicrussh 0 Posted November 13, 2015 Try swapping out the power connection at the power supply of the suspect camera with a known good connection. If the problem (blue image) occurs again with the same camera, your camera is NFG... I already do that, but the problem persist. What do you mean by "NFG"? tomcctv 190 Posted November 14, 2015 Hi. Blue screen might not be a power problem .... But it takes 6watt can you list or post a picture of your power unit Distance of your problem camera to recorder ? But blue screen sounds to me like data problem .... Are you running everything on highest settings on all 10 cameras ? If so for a test knock down 3 or 4 cameras to 720p and see if you have the same problems

logicrussh 0 Posted November 17, 2015 Now i changed the power cable of the affected camera to another place on the power supply, everything seems to be good now, i'm going to wait a couple of days to see if that was the problem.
