ESCAM QD300 - firmware bug. Anyone has old firmware?

Good device - bad Firmware!

 

Bought a QD300 2 weeks ago. Great quality on hardware and image quality.

 

Automatic updated on the first go/try to new firmware

 

Sadly the firmware has several bugs/mistakes:

 

• Email notification is not working. Cam can not connect to mail servers. (tried all ports on different providers)
   
  FTP storage is not working.
  I can setup the ftp details but cam never connects to my ftp/nas device. FTP data is correct, crosschecked with FileZilla and another brands ipcam, too.
   
  Export of configuration not working. No File created but success message shown
   
  Export of logfile not working. No File created but success message shown.

 

ESCAM support only agreed in the bugs but can not offer another firmware by mail so far.

 

If anyone on here has a working firmware it would be great to get a download link. The bug is also posted in other boards since Feb 2015 ...

Hi that's one of the problems with buying from Shenzhen city

 

If the problem goes back as far as Feb 2015 and is still a problem with there new download on there website then it will never be fixed.

 

 

Even only two weeks the cost of sending back is not worth it

my question was on an older previous firmware to be downloaded.

 

As the most current published Feb +AUG 2015 are faulty I am in need for a previous, old, version to get it working

 

I absolute agree it makes no sense waiting fpr the ShenZe guys to keep promise and deliver a new firmware in time

 

I asked them 2 weeks ago, also my seller 1 week ago and I ve been told ' there will be ....' - guess we both know there won't ...

My point is the company ONLY. Formed late 2014.

 

I think the problem is how you download the software or rarther how they do it

 

Dropbox link from a company is poor

 

For a $30 camera don't expect much help from Shenzhen City
