ukbmw1990 0 Posted November 18, 2015 Hello... I have an Avigilon set up with an NVR running the ACC services which then goes into a 4G router (no ADSL on site). I have the control center client running on a PC at my own location via ADSL. I then plan to set up a VPN between the remote location and my location however in testing the idle data use alone is quite high (approximately 3GB per month). I have setup an alarm to trigger the live viewing when movement is detected which is working perfectly however it would be useful if this could also trigger the VPN to go up and then disconnect when the alarm is acknowledged. I so far have not been able to get this to work (using IPSec). Is this possible or is there constant traffic between the control client and the server preventing this?
