martyf79 0 Posted November 23, 2015 Hi There - A bit of a newbie question. Turns out one of the issues I have w/ 3 new Hikvision cameras I've installed can be easily fixed through a camera firmware upgrade. Having never gone through a camera firmware upgrade, I looked up how to do it... came up with the following: My question is ... all of my cameras are hooked up to my Hikvision NVR. Can I simply login into my NVR remotely, go to Configuration and Maintenance, and upload the new camera firmware there, or is that only for the NVR? If I can't upload the firmware by logging into my NVR, how do I do it for each camera? I literally have no idea what to do when it says "log into each camera". Do I literally connect each camera to my router? And then what? How do I find the IP address for each camera, and then how do I login to each? Do I need to setup a Hikvision account for each camera, or somehow register each camera to my existing Hikvision account??? I'm sorry, but I'm so lost. If someone could explain to me how to do this, I would very much appreciate it. Martin
