martyf79 0 Posted November 25, 2015 Apparently, in order to upgrade my Hikvision camera's firmware, I need to be able to access them via their IP address (to load the new firmware). My Hikvision cameras are currently all connected to my Hikvision NVR. I have set everything up to be able to view my camera's remotely (via Hikvision Web portal, iPhone App iVMS-4500, and iVMS 4200). Where I am stuck is the following. I was told that I need change my cameras' default IP address to my local IP address via IVMS4200 (i.e. camera's local IP address is within same gateway as my computer's IP address). I have absolutely no idea how to do this (I've downloaded the iVMS 4200 manual and I can't seem to figure this out). Can someone please help. Many thanks. ssmith10pn 0 Posted November 26, 2015 Why don't you just change the IP address of your computer to mach the camera subnet?
Jibbeh 0 Posted November 26, 2015 You can batch upgrade camera firmware from the NVR itself. Have you not tried that?
