oakspi 0 Posted November 30, 2015 I purchased a Q-See 16 channel QC9416 DVR. It indicates a monitor can be hooked up to the VGA port or HDMI port. My older DVR was capable of several different monitor connections at the same time. Can the HDMI signal be split to two different monitors which will display the same image, no audio? Does anyone have a better way to do this? Factory Tech Support says it won't work but I feel that they really don't have any great knowledge of what I asked. oakspi 0 Posted December 1, 2015 Thanks for the link. I guess that means it should work with a splitter. I did order one from another manufacturer, a commercial grade one.
oakspi 0 Posted December 7, 2015 It worked well when I installed the splitter. I guess Q-See tech support does not have a clue about what works. They told me it would not work with a splitter.
