Boogieman 1 Posted December 2, 2015 Why do you need wifi? If you dont want to rewire, simply buy an HD over coax kit like this one. http://www.costco.com/Q-See-8-Channel-HD-Analog-DVR-with-1TB-HDD%2c-4-720p-Cameras-with-80'-Night-Vision.product.100229390.html orhttp://www.costco.com/Q-See-8-Channel-HD-Analog-DVR-with-2TB-HDD%2c-8-720p-Cameras-with-100'-Night-Vision.product.100161016.html http://www.costco.com/Lorex-8-Channel-HD-Analog-DVR-with-2TB-HDD%2c-8-1080p-Cameras-with-130'-Night-Vision.product.100218592.html
tomcctv 190 Posted December 2, 2015 Hi. That is known as a 100ohm system so no coax involved If you can't run new cables then your other option is to add baluns to existing cables and that gives you the option to go 960h analog or tvt .
cannafar 0 Posted December 3, 2015 tomcctv, what baluns do i need? stupid question: Picture of connector to the camera, is that S-Video connector?
SunnyKim 2 Posted December 4, 2015 Pretty much old. It is time to be gone. Your old system can not be linked to Wifi directly because it can not do any compression. I do not think your old system can be recording to HDD. You can save cameras but you can buy brand new one with less U$20. The new system, if you go for analog cameras and DVR, can be done with U$300, including HDD and Monitor-LCD.
