thompsoncm 0 Posted December 23, 2015 Hi, I have purchased 5 Anran POE cameras off Ebay, at first they worked then after about two weeks the email sending stopped. I have two other POE cameras (Not Anran) and the email function works OK, with the same settings as the Anran ones. I have tried five different email providers accounts with no success. I have tried tech support from the sellers and Anran support but after six weeks the problem still exists. Maybe a warning not to buy such cameras? My thinking is it is a firmware issue as all five stopped working at the same time, maybe something worldwide with SMTP changed, the effect is now after checking the handshaking to the SMTP server the camera is sending the wrong commands and the SMTP server is rejecting it, or the other way round, not sure. But trying to get the seller to accept this is proving next to impossible. Other that buying five new cameras (not made by Anran) is there anything else I can try?
