smokingjoe 0 Posted December 23, 2015 Hi all I am having trouble finding a good motion detector flood light that is meant for use inside a building. I have installed three IR cameras inside a 40X60 garage. I added a motion detector flood light with two 7 watt led bulbs which works well for adding light when motion is detected. The problem is that they sometime come on during the day even with the lights on. This building is vary well lit with the lights on. Nice clean concret floor and clean white walls. I know it still is not as bright as what it would be with natural outside light.
ssnapier 0 Posted December 24, 2015 It sounds like you need your PIR to be wired thru a photocell. That way when there is enough light the PIR does not trigger the light.
tube tech 1 Posted January 3, 2016 don't buy a whole pot of LED floodlights until you test one. the 50 watt LED flood I tried swamps the AC power lines with noise and trashes the video
