Cameratom1 0 Posted December 25, 2015 Help. i figured it wouldn't take so long to get the hang of installing compression BNC connectors on RG59 w/pwr coax??, I must of wasted 30 plus so far what is the trick??? The tool i have is thew multi compression tool that does BNC,RCA&"F" connectors. The tool i was sent to prep cable is one of those spin around tools that is suppose to make the cable ready to be made , However im so sad at the attempts so far over thirty plus i watched videos on u-tube looked at a few crude pdf,s telling me how-To?, but nothing i have seen or read so far is showing me the trick, of this simple as hack task?/If any one could shed so light on the proper way to terminate these???I would be forever grateful,X 1,00000,00 I hope to hear soon from a savy techie, who may be able to guide me or tell me where to get the equipment that will make these with no -effort ,??Thank you in advance ,Sincerely ,Camereatom1,Tulsa,Oklahoma
phillipscctv 0 Posted December 25, 2015 Have you tried using 2 piece crimp-on BNC's? They are easy to make and shorter than compression BNC's. You need a RG-59 crimper and splicer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-pcs-CCTV-Security-Camera-BNC-Crimp-Connector-Male-Type-for-Siamese-RG-Cable-/172040319508?hash=item280e66f214:g:cgsAAOSw3xJVbiC1 How to Crimp-On Good Luck! aibudo 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Agree totally with phillipscctv! Use the 2 piece crimp BNC's. Much, much cheaper and have never had one fail on install. Now that I've said that, I'll probably have the next one fail.
