thatrandomaussie 0 Posted January 3, 2016 I've just finished installing a Swann nvr8-7090 with 4 cameras, i can confirm all devices work because before i ran all the wiring through my roof and attached the cameras to my ceiling / awnings i connected everything together with short (1ft) cat 5e cables. now that everything is attached and plugged in, the nvr network ports show network traffic to the cameras but it doesn't show any footage on the nvr output screen. i took one of the cameras down and can confirm it still works with a short cable attached directly to the nvr... as far as my network cable tester is concerned there is nothing wrong with the 60 ft cables that came with the security camera package. has anyone got any ideas what my issue might be. many thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
