Simultaneous mobile viewing question..

Recommended Posts

I have a client that went out and bought an off the shelf all in one system for their new business and asked my brother to set this up for them as he does their website. He then asked me to set it up and I agreed. It is a Samsung SDS-P5102 system. I configured everything and it has been working perfectly for the last 1-2 years.

The client has recently come back to my brother with some complaints on the system and wants to replace it and wants us to find the right product.

So the current issue is that they client wants to allow her customers to view the security camera footage as it is a pet boarding facility. You can do this from a desktop machine, from a windows or google based smart phone, but does not work with Apple iPhones without using the Ipolis Mobile App. I will refrain from discussing my opinion on Apple devices here and save that for another posting.

Next issue is that this system does allow remote\mobile viewing of the cameras, but if one person is logged in with the "Guest" account and then another person logs in with the "Guest" account, the first person gets the boot.

So my issue right now is to find a system that will do the following:

1) Allow people to view the camera feed from a web browser on mobile devices and DOES NOT require a downloaded app to do so.

UPDATE: Client no longer cares if their clients need to download an app for mobile viewing.

2) Allow multiple mobile devices to view the camera feed without having to login OR able to have multiple devices logged in at once using the same account

3) Would be nice if we can find a new systems that will still allow us to use the cameras we have already installed, but if this is not an option...this is the gravy and they should have done more research on this before they bought the first Costco system.

4) Preferably a non-PC based unit. Just a standalone DVR system. Im not real comfortable with this clients PC knowledge and would like to avoid having a tutorial "this is how you use a pc" session every week with them.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
