watchdog1973 0 Posted January 5, 2016 Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently purchased a Pelco Spectra IV SL 23X from the internet. I know it needs to be wired for a 24V power supply but don't know if it is a particular one. I have 2 24V adapters. With one it does nothing and with the second one it seems to begin the boot phase but is in a loop. Also wondering if anyone knows of a compatible wall mount for the same camera. I am based in Dublin. Thanks in advance for any help.
phillipscctv 0 Posted January 6, 2016 You need a 24VAC/ 50VA power supply to power up Pelco PTZ. If your housing is environmental and has fan and heater built into it you need at least 70VA at 24VAC. (do not use 24VAC plug in transformer that is 20VA) I am using Pelco WCS1-4 to power up my Pelco Spectra III and IV. Good Luck! Phil
watchdog1973 0 Posted January 6, 2016 Thanks for that info Phil. I will have to check if it has a fan and heater and source the correct supply. You're a gent Phil, thanks again.
