tkjourneyman 0 Posted January 8, 2016 Hello, I'm having issues trying to figure out how to gain control of the camera listed in the link below, while it's using a balun. I have not used or installed any of these myself as I'm still new to the trade. The camera it's self has picture running to the monitor, but getting it to move has not been fruitful. I did not install this camera initially so this is totally new to me. I'm on this job by myself and assistance has been spotty at best. I have a couple of ideas aside from tearing it all apart and reinstalling everything according to the manual, but my current location keeps me very limited on supplies needed to make that kind of transition. Also the picture is only in IR and I am pretty sure it has daytime use for color picture. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. https://www.pelco.com/ptz-ip-cameras/esprit-hd-high-definition-integrated-pressurized-camera-systems
phillipscctv 0 Posted January 9, 2016 Hmmm this is an IP HD camera. Video balun is used for transmission of analog (composite) signal via twisted pair (UTP) and I don't think Pelco make CVI, TVI, SDI or AHD. Use the RJ45 (CAT5) to transmit video signal and data. Good Luck! Phil
