cctv_survivor 0 Posted April 19, 2006 I have a GV800 and was wondering if anyone has been able to use a cell phone to remotely view their camera feeds? If so then can you point me to some setup instructions and the cell phones that work well with remote view? I need a new cell phone and figured I'd ask here before I purchased a phone that won't work well with Geovision. I am currently looking at the Cingular 2125 phone. Here is some detail about the phone: http://msmobiles.com/news.php/4691.html Thanks
kandcorp 0 Posted April 19, 2006 You should have no problem with that phone. Usually for remote view via a PDA or Cell Phone, Windows Mobile OS is the only thing needed. Being this phone utilizes Windows Mobile 5.0, which is the newest version, I dont see any incompatiblity.
LittleScoobyMaster 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Just wondering if you were able to get this to work or not? I have an MPX200 (runs Windows Mobile 2.0 you could say - actually it's called SmartPhone\Windows 2002 which is the predecessor to WM 5.0) but the phone can also run Windows Mobile 5.0 if upgraded. I'm waiting for the HTC Star Trek flip phone to come down in price as I like flip phones a little more than the candy bar style, otherwise, I'd probably have the 2125 (or similar) as well. Looks like a great phone.
