jack44 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Does the Geovision 1480 do the recording and viewing at the full 720*576 at 30 fps on all 16 channels simultaneously? Or do some of the settings have to be reduced for that? I suppose that there must be a limit to how many remote viewers can be supported, but if all channels are being recorded at full resolutiona and frame rate, how many viewers can it support? PS. Do any of these cards come in PCI Express versions? They must be hitting the limits of PCI in demanding systems. /Jack
sal 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Geovision like most specifiy max FPS at the lowest possible resolution (320 x 240). To record at 720 x 480 (Full D1), your max FPS would be about 120 FPS on that card.
rory 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Ive never tested it with 16 cameras, but with 13 cameras at 640x480 Im getting true real time, or at least it seems ..
sal 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Live display on the gv-1480-16 is real time. (Integrated DSP with TV Out) Smart Recording will allocate more FPS to cameras with motion.
