HDCVI to DVR to multiple monitors??

Recommended Posts

I have 5 HDCVI CCTV cameras from Dahua.

Model: HAC-HFW222OS/3.6

I have these going into a Dahua HCVR7208A 1080P 8 Channel DVR.

This is the situation I am in:

I have the 5 cameras above a wrestling ring. One above each of the four turnbuckles and one directly above the ring pointing down. Now I will have those 5 cameras going into the DVR and from there will have a HDMI cable going to a monitor (Big TV). This will give me the default view of the DVR with all channels on the screen at once.

What I would LIKE is to have each "channel" (each camera) also going to its OWN TV (I have five spares) and I am wondering what is the best way to do this? Is there software available for the DVR that will let me isolate channels into individual outputs?

Any ideas?

Also, I have gathered that there has to be some way to change the format from the CCTV to the TV, that is what I am looking for. Thanks.

Does that mean you have to install a splitter on the hd-cvi output of the camera to the dvr ?

If that is even possible

How do you split the signal ?

The converter is also a splitter, it also has HDCVI output.
