cctv_down_under 0 Posted June 7, 2004 Actually that is just for 1 Yr worth of recorded data storage on 32 cams... YEP thats what it takes.. you do the math!! We gave them many options, just quoted on a 147Tb solution just last month.. that gives 3 yrs recording on 32 cams. Severeal options were suggested, firstly Raid 5 Storage boxs in a rack mounted option with Gigabit lan, then we offered SAN Storage Area Network to our facility but we ended up with part SCSI Raid and part Tape back up, with an automated loading machine for achiving tapes, cost was about $1M Aus$ which I think is like 1.5M$ to you guys.. ahvent got the go ahead yet.
